ONZ: handel niewolnikami to "najpoważniejsza zbrodnia przeciw ludzkości"
ONZ przegłosowało w środę historyczną rezolucję opisującą transatlantycki handel niewolnikami jako "najpoważniejszą zbrodnię przeciw ludzkości" i wezwało do reparacji jako "konkretnego kroku w naprawieniu historycznych krzywd". Rezolucję zaproponował prezydent Ghany John Dramani Mahama, a poparto ją przez Unię Afrykańską i Wspólnotę Karaibską (Caricom).
