Poland's Ministry of Finance is planning tax increases targeting specific flat-rate taxpayers suspected of exploiting the system. Those affected would include a business partner leasing a trademark to their own company, a father renting premises to his son, and sole entrepreneurs on the 8.5% flat rate with high revenues and no employees. The ministry argues the changes are needed to curb tax avoidance schemes.
