Poland Changes Aid Rules for Ukrainians — NGOs Warn Cancer Patients and Mothers at Risk
Changes to Polish regulations on aid for Ukrainian citizens are hitting the most vulnerable groups hardest: cancer patients mid-treatment, parents of young children, and dependent individuals. Agnieszka Kosowicz, head of the Polish Migration Forum, told PAP that the new rules leave these people in a very difficult position. NGOs are urging the government to revise the legislation.
