No. 9 seed Iowa upsets Nebraska in NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen
Ninth-seeded Iowa Hawkeyes beat Nebraska 77-71 in the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen on Thursday night. Bennett Stirtz scored 20 points and Alvaro Folgueiras added 16, including a critical three-point play. Iowa, coached by first-year head coach Ben McCollum, had already knocked out top seed Florida earlier in the tournament.
