Cheaper Fuel Next Week If President Signs VAT and Excise Cut
The Polish government announced that fuel prices could drop as early as next week, pending the president's signature on a bill cutting VAT and excise duty. A maximum fuel price cap is also planned to limit the impact of rising costs. The measures are designed to shield drivers from ongoing price increases.
Ceny paliw mogą spaść już w przyszłym tygodniu – zapowiada rząd. Wszystko zależy od podpisu prezydenta pod ustawą obniżającą VAT i akcyzę. Wprowadzona ma być także maksymalna cena paliw, by ograniczyć skutki drożyzny.
