Anthropic Wins First Round Against Pentagon Over AI Blacklist
A federal court in California ruled that the Pentagon's blacklisting of Anthropic and the ban on government agencies using its tools cannot currently be enforced. The court found the designation was likely an unconstitutional act of retaliation violating the First Amendment. As a result, Anthropic's Claude AI tools can once again be used by government agencies.
