France Creates "France Munition" to Fund Ammunition With Private Capital
According to French newspaper Le Monde, the French government plans to create an entity called France Munition to allow private investors to co-finance ammunition procurement for the military. The initiative is designed to bypass budgetary constraints and accelerate and scale up military orders. Private sector entities are reportedly interested in the co-investment model.
Dziennik „Le Monde” podał w piątek, że według rządu Francji podmioty prywatne są zainteresowane modelem współinwestowania w firmie France Munition. Rząd planuje utworzyć taki podmiot, by umożliwić szybsze i większe zamówienia amunicji na potrzeby armii mimo ograniczeń budżetowych.
