Polish Transport Sector Owes 870M PLN in Insurance Arrears Amid Fraud Rise
Rising motor insurance costs are pushing Poland's transport sector and individual drivers deeper into debt, with arrears on insurance policies reaching 870 million PLN. The scale of fraud, particularly the so-called "Italian method" of staging accidents to claim compensation, is also increasing. The trend is causing serious financial strain on insurers.
