The Polish Sejm on Friday passed a package of laws aimed at curbing fuel price increases at petrol stations. The government's plan includes reducing VAT and excise duty on fuels and introducing maximum price caps. The legislation now moves to the Senate for further consideration.

Sejm w piątek przegłosował ustawy, które mają ograniczyć wzrost cen paliw na stacjach. Pakiet działań przygotowanych przez rząd zakłada m.in. obniżenie VAT-u oraz akcyzy na paliwa. Wprowadzone zostaną także maksymalne ceny paliw. Teraz ustawy trafią do Senatu.
