EU to Levy Handling Fee on Small Packages from Temu, Shein and Others from November
The European Union announced it will introduce handling fees for small non-EU packages starting November 1. A separate customs duty on such items will also come into effect in July. The measures are aimed at platforms like Temu and Shein, which ship large volumes of low-cost packages into Europe.
