OpenAI launches $25bn philanthropy fund led by co-founder Wojciech Zaremba
OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, is launching one of the largest philanthropic programs in AI history, committing up to $25 billion to mitigate the societal impacts of AI development. The fund will focus on issues including job market disruption and mental health effects caused by algorithms. The initiative will be led by OpenAI co-founder Wojciech Zaremba, who is Polish.
