Analysts from e-petrol.pl estimate that if the government's fuel price reduction package comes into force, petrol 95 would cost between 5.99 and 6.19 PLN per litre, while diesel would range from 7.39 to 7.60 PLN. The package includes VAT and excise duty cuts and a maximum price mechanism at petrol stations. It is the government's response to rising fuel costs at the pump.
