Woman takes out 70,000 PLN loan and hands cash to a stranger
A 43-year-old woman fell victim to a phone scam in Poland. A stranger convinced her that someone was trying to take out a loan using her identity, persuading her to go to a bank and borrow the maximum possible amount herself. She took out a loan of 70,000 PLN and handed the cash to the fraudster.
Wmówił 43-latce, że ktoś na jej dane próbuje zaciągnąć kredyt. Aby uniknąć problemów, miała się pójść do banku i pożyczyć maksymalną możliwą kwotę. Tak zrobiła. Pieniądze - 70 tysięcy złotych - oddała nieznajomemu mężczyźnie.
