Lublin court presidents stay in post despite KRS refusal
Poland's Ministry of Justice announced that judges Jerzy Nawrocki and Barbara du Château will remain as president and vice-president of the Lublin Court of Appeal. Both have reached retirement age and the National Council of the Judiciary refused to approve their continued service. The ministry overrode the KRS decision and kept them in their posts.
Ministerstwo Sprawiedliwości poinformowało, że sędziowie Jerzy Nawrocki i Barbara du Château pozostają na stanowisku prezesa i wiceprezesa Sądu Apelacyjnego w Lublinie pomimo osiągnięciu wieku uprawniającego do przejścia w stan spoczynku i braku zgody Krajowej Rady Sądownictwa na dalsze zajmowanie stanowiska sędziego.
