Ex-Police Officer Gets 20 Years for Murdering Priest in Kłobuck
The Regional Court in Częstochowa sentenced former police officer Tomasz J. to 20 years in prison for the murder of Father Grzegorz Dymek, parish priest in Kłobuck. The defendant said he thought the priest would be frightened rather than harmed. Prosecutors had sought a life sentence and may appeal the verdict.
Sąd Okręgowy w Częstochowie skazał Tomasza J. na 20 lat, za zabójstwo ks. Grzegorza Dymka. Duchowny był proboszczem parafii Najświętszej Maryi Panny Fatimskiej w Kłobucku. Prokuratura domagała się dla mężczyzny dożywocia i nie wyklucza, że złoży apelację.
