ADHD medication does not increase psychosis risk in children
Contrary to earlier concerns, methylphenidate does not increase the risk of psychosis development in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Results of a new study published in "JAMA Psychiatry" challenge older safety concerns about the medication. The finding provides relief to parents and doctors using this popular ADHD treatment.
