Polish ZUS: Same-Sex Marriages from Abroad Eligible for Equal Treatment
Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) announced that same-sex marriages contracted abroad will be treated equally to marriages registered in Poland, effective from the moment the couple obtains documents from a Polish civil registry office. The decision responds to demands by same-sex couples for equal legal treatment.
