Tom Pidcock Withdraws From Volta a Catalunya After Horror Crash Down Ravine
British cyclist Tom Pidcock has been withdrawn from the Volta a Catalunya after suffering a "horror" crash down a ravine during stage five on Friday. Pidcock misjudged a corner, went off the road, and sustained bone and ligament damage to his right knee and wrist. Although he remounted and finished the stage, medical assessments ruled out continuing in the race.
