Polish activist killed in Ecuador had alleged evidence linking president's family to drug trade
Polish activist Monika Silva-Koniuszek was killed in Ecuador in early June. Sixty-seven days before her death, she sought protection from the US embassy and handed over a package of documents. She claimed the documents were evidence linking the Ecuadorian president's family business to the drug trade. Journalists have reviewed copies of some of those materials.
