Telstra Outage Kills One, Disrupts Trains Across Australia
A nationwide Telstra network outage in Australia has resulted in at least one death — an elderly person in South Australia who could not reach the emergency number 000 during a life-or-death situation. Telstra warned of a "secondary issue" with some customers still unable to connect to emergency services. Regional V/Line trains in Victoria remain cancelled, including morning peak services, as the aftermath of the outage continues.
