Gen. Syrskyi: Russian offensive pace halved, active fronts down from 13 to 6–7
Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi announced on Friday that Russia's offensive pace in the first half of 2026 has more than halved compared to the previous period. The number of active offensive directions has dropped from 13 to six or seven. This signals a significant slowdown in Russian military pressure along the front line.
