Polish household debt reaches 86% of earnings, exceeds wages in some regions
The median debt of Polish households has reached 86% of median earnings, and in some cities and regions debts already exceed wages. Martin Kaczmarski, chairman of the supervisory board of credit bureau KRD, says the rising debt-to-income ratio is an early warning indicator of deteriorating household finances in Poland.
