Cannes Critics' Week picks four Armenian filmmakers for Next Step Studio 2026
Cannes Film Festival's Critics' Week has named the four participants for its 2026 Next Step Studio program, which will focus on Armenia. The selected directors are Armik Israyelyan, Raffi Movsisyan, Sona Khachatryan and Naira Sargsyan. Each Armenian filmmaker will be paired with an international director to collaboratively develop new film projects.
