A24 has reversed its copyright claims over Backrooms-themed artwork after widespread backlash online. The dispute began when a Reddit user reported their design was removed from print-on-demand site Redbubble following a complaint filed by A24 Films LLC. The artwork was based on the iconic liminal hallway photo from 2019 that spawned the Backrooms creepypasta phenomenon.
