Jason Newsted picks Metallica thrashers he'd turn into country songs

Jason Newsted, Metallica's former bassist, has picked the band's songs he thinks would translate best into country music. He has returned to touring with his own Chophouse Band, playing shows alongside Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke. Newsted did not indicate whether he plans to actually record country versions of any Metallica tracks.
