France captain Kylian Mbappé broke Lionel Messi's all-time World Cup scoring record during the third-place play-off against England in Miami. Mbappé first equalled and then surpassed Messi's mark, netting his 21st and 22nd World Cup goals to become the tournament's all-time top scorer.
