Disney developing live-action "Princess and the Frog" film with Colman Domingo writing script
Disney is developing a live-action film set in the world of "The Princess and the Frog". Actor Colman Domingo ("Euphoria", "Michael") is in talks to co-write the screenplay alongside playwright and director Robert O'Hara. The project is at an early stage and will be an original story — not a remake of the 2009 animated film — set in Princess Tiana's world. The original animation grossed $267 million worldwide and earned three Oscar nominations.
