Australian woman gives birth to identical quadruplets — odds of one in 15 million
Jenitar Na'amoana, a 34-year-old woman from Brisbane, gave birth to four naturally conceived, identical quadruplets in what is believed to be an Australian first. The pregnancy resulted from a single fertilised egg splitting into four embryos — an event estimated at one in 15 million odds. Na'amoana already had four children and had not planned another pregnancy.
