Kalshi Threatens Netflix With Defamation Suit Over Prediction Market Doc Trailer
Prediction market platform Kalshi sent Netflix a cease-and-desist letter threatening a defamation suit over the trailer for the upcoming documentary "The Prediction Games," premiering Sunday. Kalshi's lawyers say the trailer is "misleading" because it shows traders celebrating earnings at a time when a court ordered the app to block sports-related markets in Nevada. The company argues the footage wrongly links its platform to the restricted markets.
