Final Fantasy 7 Revelation physical disc release uncertain despite spring 2027 launch

Square Enix cannot confirm whether Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, the third and final part of the FF7 remake trilogy, will receive a physical disc release. The game is due in spring 2027, but Sony has announced it will stop producing physical PlayStation discs roughly a year before that date. Game director Hamaguchi says he is pushing for a physical edition, but no confirmation has been given.
