Raleigh owner Accell files for insolvency

Accell, the Dutch company that has owned the iconic Raleigh bike brand since 2012, has started insolvency proceedings. Raleigh is one of the world's oldest and best-known bicycle brands. The move puts the brand's future and its European distribution in doubt.
