Fajdek finishes 5th at Europeans: "The circle was like an ice rink"

Paweł Fajdek finished fifth in the hammer throw final at the European Championships in Birmingham. Speaking to TVP Sport, the Pole was furious, explaining that the throwing circle was slippery like an ice rink where he plants his right foot. He insisted that a properly prepared circle would have allowed him to win a medal for Poland.
