Memphis Depay leaves Corinthians after last-minute contract talks collapse

Memphis Depay has parted ways with Brazilian club Corinthians after his contract expired. Coach Fernando Diniz had assured as recently as the weekend that the Dutchman would stay, but the club reversed course and broke off negotiations. Depay has left Brazil without a new deal.
