Nearly 500 under-16s treated at UK trauma centres after e-scooter crashes

Three UK trauma centres — in Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield — have treated nearly 500 casualties under the age of 16 following e-scooter crashes. The injured include children as young as nine years old. The figures point to a growing number of serious incidents involving underage riders.
