Bondi Beach shooting hero cleared of assault charges

Ahmed al Ahmed, 44, who disarmed one of the gunmen in the Bondi Beach massacre, has had assault charges against him dismissed by a court. He had been accused of putting his father in a headlock in March and intimidation in a separate alleged incident in June. Al Ahmed maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings.
