Russia frees US prisoner Robert Gilman — Witkoff thanks Putin

Robert Gilman, a former US soldier held in a Russian penal colony, has returned to the United States after being released by Russia. US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff thanked Vladimir Putin for granting a "humanitarian pardon" and for his personal involvement throughout the process.
