Court rejects Meta, Google, TikTok and Snap bid to block kids' addiction lawsuits

A San Francisco appeals court has rejected attempts by Meta, Google, TikTok and Snap to block thousands of lawsuits alleging they deliberately addicted young users to social media. The cases will now be allowed to proceed. The ruling is a significant step for thousands of plaintiffs who claim the platforms intentionally designed their products to be addictive to children.
