XRP Ledger exploit: attacker minted XRP from thin air in just 97 minutes

A vulnerability in the bridge connecting XRP Ledger to the tx network allowed an attacker to mint unbacked XRP tokens and immediately swap them for real coins. In just 97 minutes, the attacker extracted hundreds of thousands of dollars in value. The exploit has since been identified and investigated.
