FIFA and UEFA reject calls to suspend Israel over Gaza conflict

Amnesty International urged FIFA and UEFA to suspend Israel from football over its military actions in Gaza and the West Bank. Both governing bodies rejected the appeal. Małgorzata Połowniak-Dąbrowska from Amnesty International Poland said the organisations' silence has emboldened Israel to continue operations in the West Bank.
