Zhu Rongji, Chinese premier who drove market reforms and WTO entry, dies at 97
Zhu Rongji, the former Chinese premier who played a decisive role in transforming China into the world's leading manufacturing power and steering the country into the World Trade Organization, has died at the age of 97. As vice premier and then premier, he was the chief architect of China's market economy reforms.
