Polish truffles fetch up to 2,400 zloty per kg — and this season there are fewer
Truffles — dubbed "black diamonds" — grow not only in Italy and France but also in Polish forests, fetching up to 2,400 zloty per kilogram. They are hard to spot as they grow underground and require specialist knowledge to find. This season's harvest is noticeably smaller, which could push prices even higher in autumn.
