Human Rights Watch opposes US cluster munitions transfer to Ukraine via Turkey

Human Rights Watch has published a statement firmly opposing plans to transfer US cluster munitions to Ukraine via Turkey. The organisation warns of serious risks to civilians posed by cluster weapons, which scatter submunitions over wide areas. HRW is calling for the transfer to be blocked.
