Arizona crypto ATM law helps 35 scam victims recover $171,000

A new Arizona law has enabled 35 scam victims to recover a combined $171,000 lost through cryptocurrency ATMs. Under the law, new customers are entitled to a full refund, including fees, if they report the fraud to both the operator and law enforcement within 30 days. The legislation is among the first of its kind in the US to offer consumer protections specifically targeting crypto ATM scams.
