BC wildfire forced 20,000 to flee — premier warns of "new normal"

Premier David Eby warned the blaze spread faster than official models predicted, leaving some residents almost no time to flee. Eby said such extreme fire events may represent a "new normal" as climate change intensifies wildfire risk in western Canada.
