MyDr data breach: 19 million Poles' records stolen, phishing scams feared
A cyberattack on the MyDr platform resulted in the theft of a database containing records of nearly 19 million people — roughly half of Poland's population — totalling over 2 TB of data. Criminals are expected to exploit the stolen information for phishing scams, posing as clinics or medical staff. Poland's Minister of Digitisation is urging citizens to immediately freeze their PESEL national ID numbers.
