Teamsters sue California over driverless semis threatening 200,000 jobs

Teamsters California filed a lawsuit against the state DMV, accusing it of bypassing regulations to fast-track approval of heavy-duty autonomous vehicles. Vice president Peter Finn argues the DMV failed to assess the safety impact on regular motorists. The union warns that up to 200,000 trucking jobs could be at risk if driverless semis are deployed statewide.
