EU Commission to monitor Ukraine's harvest and exports; Kyiv requests €220 million in aid

The European Commission will monitor Ukraine's upcoming harvest, grain storage and export capacity to assess whether Kyiv needs assistance, said EC spokeswoman Louise Bogey on Thursday. She confirmed that Brussels has received Ukraine's request for €220 million in support for Ukrainian farmers. The Commission will use the findings to decide on the appropriate response.
