Polish drug regulator pulls antibiotic ointment Soltopin over contamination
Poland's Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate has ordered the immediate withdrawal of one batch of Soltopin antibiotic ointment, used to treat bacterial skin infections. The batch was found to contain an insufficient level of active substance and exceeded permissible contamination limits. The withdrawal takes effect immediately.
