Norwegian intelligence expert: Europe has entered a new nuclear age

Kristin Ven Bruusgaard, head of the Norwegian military intelligence school, has declared that the world has entered a new nuclear age and that European states are seeking alternatives to US nuclear guarantees. She pointed to France's plans to expand its nuclear arsenal and Finland's steps in the same direction. Europe is working to strengthen its own nuclear deterrence in response to growing threats from Russia.
