Expert warns West is in "phase zero of a great conflict" and must act now
Prof. Andrew Michta warned in an interview with Defence24 that the world is currently in the "phase zero of a great conflict." He stressed that if the West — especially eastern flank states led by Poland — fails to move from declarations to real industrial, infrastructure and political capacity-building, the cost of restoring strategic balance could be enormous. He called for concrete action rather than mere rhetoric.
